When two large teaching hospitals, one with a defined benefit plan and one with a defined contribution plan, merged they called on Buck to help them address their critical retirement program concerns.

The client needed to be well positioned in the hyper-competitive market for talent, to keep cost increases to a minimum, and to avoid union dissent over program changes.
