When a multi-industry company of approximately 50,000 employees wanted to transform its entire global HR organization, it called on Buck to lead the charge. The large-scale transformation, which was a phased approach that took place over two years, included implementing a global software system, sourcing to qualified vendors, creating and implementing uniform HR policies and much more.
The Buck Communication team worked with the client to build support for the transformation by aligning it with key business drivers and demonstrating the benefits of change to the company’s employees and managers. During implementation, Buck strategically targeted each key stakeholder group with specific messaging and regular updates and provided tactical tools to communicate news of the transition to managers and employees.
As a result, the global transformation project was an overwhelming success. Managers and employees embraced greater self-service, HR reduced costs up to 20 percent, and global collaboration for leveraging and managing talent increased.
