Buck Consumerism Index® Surveys

The Buck Consumerism Index® (BCI®) Express surveys are designed to help companies gain insight into current Career, Health, and Wealth management strategies used to encourage employees to make informed health care and lifestyle decisions. The surveys look at the three major areas of influence that have been identified as having the most significant impact on employee engagement: Information, Incentives, and Infrastructure.

Although each BCI Express survey measures against an ideal, there is no right or wrong answer. Each company determines its optimal position on the spectrum — from paternalism to individualism — and the optimal position can vary for each of the career, health, and wealth components.
